Ladies, I am very sorry for not keeping the website updated.  As many of you know I had my gall bladder removed.  I didn’t realize how one part of your body can make you as a whole feel horrible.  And it is amazing how many test you can go through until they find out what is wrong.   But I believe I am on the road to recovery and I know I feel a lot better.  Thank you for your prayers.  And I will TRY to keep you more updated?!?!?

‘Loving Well’ is a Bible Study/retreat by Beth Moore.  The topic is how to love all personalities.  Details are as follows

Who is Elisa Broadus?  This is the name of the KY State Missions Offering.  We will be collecting this offering during the month of Sept.  Our church goal is $800.  Offering envelopes will be in the bulletin the first Sunday of Sept. and on the table in the foyer.  This offering helps support Lonnie Riley in Lynch and many others.

The Lynch mission trip is Aug. 18-23.  Be in prayer for them the whole week and especially Friday evening.  They will be feeding (making pizzas) and Bro. T will be preaching to one of the area towns. 

The Lisa Whelchel ladies conference was wonderful.  We had 8 members from our church there.  If you every get a chance to hear her, she is entertaining and inspiring.  I’m not sure if she has it on her website but you should read how she got engaged.  Not your average story

The cookout Saturday evening was a lot of fun!!! Hotdogs, hamburgers, laughter, horseshoes, volleyball, and bugs, what more could you want. Forty-two people make sure you mark your calendar for the next event.
