Would you like to see and taste other people’s favorite dishes?  The relay for life team will be making a Spring Bayou Cookbook.  We would like every family to participate.    Pick out your favorite receipes and submit to Candy Lawrence, Anissa Johnson, or Leah Tipton.  You can also email them to leah@springbayou.com.  The deadline for receipes is Sunday,  March 9.  Can’t wait to see everyone’s submittions. 

Starting tonight (Feb. 23) the relay for life team will be taking orders for church sweatshirt and hats.  We will also be taking orders for Bayou Girls t-shirts.  Money is due when you order.

 All shirts are imprinted on front right chest with  “It’s a God Thing” logo and church name.  Except Bayou Girls t-shirt, they will be like the last order except nothing on the back. Pricing is as follow:

White sweatshirt with blue imprint - S-XL $10,  2x $12,   3x $14,

Blue sweatshirt with white imprint - S-XL $12,   2x $14,

Bayou Girls T-shirt front only - S-XL $8.50,   2x $9.50,   3x $10.50

There will be no meals provided by the Relay Team for the month of December.  We will start back up in January only serving the first Wednesday of the month.

Nov. 7   Baked Ham, Potatoes, Green Beans, Rolls

Nov. 14   Mexican Night   Tacos or Nachos  Mexican rice and re-fried beans

Nov. 21  No meal

Nov. 28  Veggie Soup and Sandwiches

The Wednesday evening meals are going wonderfully.  We are serving 70-90 people each week and have raised $632 in 4 weeks.  Please remind everyone to sign up by noon on Tuesdays. 

On November 1 & 2  from 8-1 we will be having a yard sale.  If you bring items, please have them priced, and dropped off by Wednesday night.  Also if you can work the yard sale contact Leah or Candy.

Also all team members need to get with Candy to fill out entry forms and pay a $6 fee.
