Retreat

100_20001.jpgWhat a wonderful time in the Lord and fellowship!!!!!!  Beth Moore’s four Bible studies were great, as ususal.  Through our game time we got to know each other.  And can you believe it, 13 personalities and we all make it home.  Food wasn’t a problem for us.  Kathleen’s spaghetti was delicious.  Thanks Kathleen!!!!  Ralph’s will never be the same. 

Getting on a more serious note.  Our time together was something, none of us will forget.  We laughed, cried, and had many prayer circles.  We grew in the Lord and in each other.  Thank you God, for every moment.

‘Loving Well’ is a Bible Study/retreat by Beth Moore.  The topic is how to love all personalities.  Details are as follows

Where:  Moors Resort

When: Sept. 11-13

Cost: $25 plus food

If you are planning to come, I need a picture of you.  (Baby or just youngest you have)  Don’t show anyone. Put the picture in an envelope, with your name on it.  The money ($25) is due by Wed. Sept 3.

Cost is $25  We will leave the church on Friday at 6:20 and Saturday at 8:20 (we will have lunch together after the Sat. session)

 Lisa Whelchel is a Christian author and speaker who is best known for her starring role as “Blair Warner” on NBC’s “The Facts of Life” TV show.  Ms. Whelchel will be our guest speaker at the 2008 Women’s Event hosted by Southland Baptist Temple in Paducah, KY.

Ladies Retreat…

We have had a change in plans!!!!

When: July 27-28
Time: 2pm - 12 noon
Price: $35/person     Price includes: evening meal, breakfast, Bible study book, whatever is extra will go towards door prizes

What to bring:
[ ] Bible, pencil, notebook     [ ] comfortable clothes
[ ] scrapbooking/stamping supplies
[ ] snack foods                    [ ] drinks

if planning to rest/sleep
[ ] pillow                              [ ] blowup mattress
[ ] blanket

Congratulations Penny!!!  She won the $50 gift cert. to Hobby Lobby

Everyone had a great time.  We had 13 ladies, lots of food, great Bible Studies, and a lot of stamping and scrapping.  If you weren’t able to make this event make sure you watch for the next Bayou Girls Night Out!!!!
