Women’s Ministry

Ladies,  did you add on weight in ‘07?  Starting Sunday Jan. 6 we will be having a weight loss competition.  Depending on how many we have to participate, you will be with a group.  Each week on Sunday evening we will weight (you will keep up with your weight, I will give you a chart to help). You will only give me your loss for the week.  This will continue through the first Sunday in April. (Spring Break) 

To make it more of a competition we will have a chart to see the progress.  Don’t worry individual names and weight will not be on the chart.  Only the group name and total loss.  At the top of the chart will be each groups weight loss goal.   

What do you win, you are thinking.  Better health, smaller waist, and bragging rights.

Also men are included in this challenge.  So ask you husbands.  If you would like to participate email me or tell me this Sunday.  Don’t forget we will start Jan. 6 

As you know Friday night is our scheduled Bayou Girls Night Out but we will be doing things a little different this month.   We are going to make cookies for our service men for Christmas.  So bring your favorite cookie recipe and supplies.  We will also need to make some Christmas cards to put with the baskets we send to the nursery home and home-bound people.  So come bring your recipes, cardstock, and your taste buds.  (Each batch will need to be tested)

Friday Dec. 7 @ 7pm

There will be no meals provided by the Relay Team for the month of December.  We will start back up in January only serving the first Wednesday of the month.
