Women’s Ministry

Would you like to see and taste other people’s favorite dishes?  The relay for life team will be making a Spring Bayou Cookbook.  We would like every family to participate.    Pick out your favorite receipes and submit to Candy Lawrence, Anissa Johnson, or Leah Tipton.  You can also email them to leah@springbayou.com.  The deadline for receipes is Sunday,  March 9.  Can’t wait to see everyone’s submittions. 

Mission project for the month a February is send a note/card to the nursing home, shut-ins, and sick.  A list of addresses are available.  Help brighten someones day.  Send a card.

We have extended the sale for the church sweatshirts and hat.  And the Bayou Girls t-shirt.  We will be saleing throught Wed. 13.  Don’t be left out.  Place your order ASAP

Our Bible study has touched on ‘2 Bad Girls’.  We have studed Eve and Potiphar’s Wife.  We have discovered new things about each Bad Girls.  If you have missed a meeting we encourage you to come in March for the next study.  March we will study Lot’s wife.  If you would like to refresh your memory read Genesis 19. 

Don’t forget tonight is the S&S night.  (Scrappin and Stampin night)   It will start at 7pm and go until the last person leaves.  (Don’t make it extremely late I have to lock up.  Ha Ha)  Even if you don’t S or S come and we will show you how to make a card.  We are sending cards to the shut ins, nursing home people, and sick.
